JAVA JAZZ FESTIVAL 2014 (10 YEARS EDITION)

On March 8th ago, along with my friends in the Jazzngisoringin Semarang community of Jazz had the opportunity to perform in one of the biggest jazz events in Indonesia, Java Jazz Festival 2014.
We got a chance to play in the booth that belonging to the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif) for about 1 hour.

It is not a big stage but nevertheless we still enjoy and perform to the maximum. I hope next year we get another chance to be in this jazz event and on a bigger stage. Aamiin..

STAND UP, STAND OUT, STAND TALL

I've already learned that we are not weak just because our heart feels so heavy. I've already knew that we never can trust people. Don't ever fall for sweet words but fall for efforts. Always give the best because no one who gave their best ever regreted it. If someone knock you down, forgive then ignore him/her. But never forget what they did to you. You are different, you are special, you are you. Be original. Keep your faith, be patient and do not feed your anger, it will swallow your light. Stand up, Stand out, Stand tall.

CAPTAIN HOUSE PHANG TJONG TOEN

Captain House Tjong Toen Phang is one of the historic buildings in Belitung province, even including the protected cultural heritage objects Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 1992 on Cultural Heritage. Captain Phang home Tjong Toen is one of the historical buildings in the city of Tanjungpandan . It painted white and located between a row of shops near the intersection of various road Endek Tanjungpandan Pacific Islands region. If you shop at the market Tanjungpandan and through the road, you will see the historical building. Phang Tjong Toen known in his time as a captain as well as mine clerk since John F. Loudon began opening in Belitung tin mining in 1853. To settle on the island of Belitung, Captain Phang Tjong Toen built a house typical architecture.
